Sun+Earth Standards – Proposed Changes
Just like the gardens we certify, the Sun+Earth Certified standards must also be weeded and pruned from time-to-time. As our inspectors and final reviewers work with the standards, we are able to identify parts of the standards that need improvement. In 2022, our Board of Directors approved proposed changes to Core Requirement 8.5 of the Sun+Earth standards. Additionally, they approved proposed additions to Annex 1 and 2 of the Sun+Earth Certified standards. We would like to give our community an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed changes prior to finalization and adoption of the modifications.
