Sun+Earth is a non-profit cannabis certification program on a mission to redefine sustainability and integrity in the cannabis industry. We believe that cannabis, at its best, is a force for good—for people and the planet. That’s why we partner with conscious cultivators, processors, and dispensaries who share our commitment to organic agriculture, regenerative practices, and ethical business.
Our Story
Born from a deep respect for the plant and a vision for a more sustainable future, Sun+Earth was founded by a collective of experienced cannabis growers, industry leaders, and environmental advocates. We saw an opportunity to raise the bar for cannabis cultivation and create a trusted symbol that consumers could rely on.

Our History
The Sun+Earth Certified project initially received funding through a grant from Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps. This support aligns with Dr. Bronner's Cosmic Principles to "Treat the Earth Like Home" by promoting regenerative organic farming that enriches soil and combats climate change.
Additionally, it supports the principle to "Fund & Fight For What’s Right" by advocating for hemp and drug policy reform. Dr. Bronner's family foundation continues to back Sun+Earth’s mission, helping to ensure that cannabis is grown sustainably and ethically.
